Located in the north end of Colorado Springs, Briargate is a master-planned community with multiple neighborhoods. Briargate homes are designed according to community standards, which emphasizes traditional architectural styles, including Craftsman, Prairie, Spanish Eclectic, and European Cottage. This gives Briargate real estate a cohesive feel. There’s also lots of diversity in Briarwood. Houses start in the mid-$200,000s, so the community can be a great choice for people just starting out or others on a budget. On the other hand, there are many estate-style homes with lots of an acre or more. Whatever your needs, Briargate has you covered.
Not only are Briargate homes beautifully built, they offer residents tons of excellent amenities. Families appreciate the excellent public schools in the area. District 20 is the local district, and it’s one of Colorado Springs’ best. Several are located right in the Briarwood community, so kids have the freedom to walk to school. The district also offers choice schools, which have specialized programs.
Briargate has areas zoned for commercial use, as well as residential. The Promenade Shops at Briargate includes great nationally-known brands, like Pottery Barn, Talbots, Ulta Beauty, Eddie Bauer, and Apple. It’s a fun place to meet friends for a meal, too. Try Menya Ramen and Poke, Ted’s Montana Grill, or the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, among many others.
For those who love to be active, there’s the Briargate Family YMCA. It offers classes for people of all ages and has fun sports leagues for kids. Parents can work out while their kids are safely supervised in the child watch area. Pine Creek Golf Club, in the Pine Creek community, is a highly rated public course. It was designed by Richard Phelps in 1988 and is a player-focused, 18-hole championship course. Briargate also has many parks throughout its neighborhoods as well as a system of trails.
